ChronAir™
Weaving Time, Space, and the Future of Our Air.
"ChronAir certifies and preserves the air of a specific place and moment."
Presented at VivaTech Paris as part of REVCELL's atmospheric provenance initiative.
What is ChronAir™? ChronAir™ is a premium certification brand for art and luxury products. The ChronAir™ mark certifies that a piece is created with provenance-verified atmospheric CO₂ — captured directly from the air, with a verified record of the exact time and place it was taken.
Like an ingredient brand, the ChronAir™ mark can be carried by many kinds of premium creations. In some, captured CO₂ is permanently fixed within the piece — sealed as bubbles in glass, or held within resins and coatings. In others, such as crafted glass made from our certified material, the carbon takes the form of a verified, atmosphere-derived origin rather than a fixed quantity. In every case, the mark certifies one thing: the carbon involved was truly drawn from a specific moment of our planet's air, and its origin can be proven — a record that is extremely difficult to tamper with.
Built on REVCELL's patented and patent-pending capture-and-verification technology, ChronAir™ unites frontier climate science with design and craft — turning an invisible greenhouse gas into a lasting witness to a single moment of our planet's air.
Intellectual Property REVCELL's capture-and-verification system is protected by granted patents in Japan (JP 7,189,644 and JP 7,647,729) and by corresponding patent applications filed in the EU and the US (patent pending).
Masterpieces by Contemporary Glass Artist,
Kyoko Tamada
The inaugural creations of ChronAir™ are brought to life through the hands of renowned contemporary glass artist, Kyoko Tamada. Her profound artistic philosophy centers on "weaving time and dyeing space," capturing the flowing passage of time and the transient emotional landscape inside glass.
"The Great Wave" Paperweight
Handcrafted by renowned glass artist Kyoko Tamada, whose philosophy centers on "weaving time and dyeing space." Inside the frozen crest of the wave, countless delicate bubbles are suspended. Each one holds atmospheric CO₂ captured directly from the air, backed by a verified record of the exact time and place it was captured — a record that is extremely difficult to tamper with — secured by REVCELL's patented technology. An invisible greenhouse gas, given an origin and sealed in glass.
The Inspiration: Hokusai's "Great Wave"
Katsushika Hokusai's legendary woodblock print is a global symbol of the sublime power of Japanese nature. By sealing provenance-certified CO₂ — captured from the air — as bubbles within this iconic imagery, ChronAir™ envisions a new, lasting harmony between humanity and our atmosphere. It is where global cultural heritage meets frontier climate craft, and our very first proof of concept to show the world.
The Artist: Kyoko Tamada
A graduate of Musashino Art University and trained at the Pilchuck Glass School in the United States, Kyoko Tamada has created glass art since 1985, founding her studio, Glass Flow, in 1992. Her philosophy — weaving time and dyeing space — draws on Japanese classical literature and the aesthetic of mono no aware. Exhibited in London, New York, Paris, and across Japan, she now turns her art toward the atmosphere itself, giving a single breath of our planet permanence.
In a radical convergence of art and science, these bubbles are not mere air pockets. Each one holds atmospheric CO₂ captured directly from the air, backed by a verified record of the exact time and place of its capture — a record that is extremely difficult to tamper with — secured by REVCELL's patented technology. Here, the artist's vision of "capturing space" meets frontier climate craft — transforming an invisible greenhouse gas into a physical, emotional testament to our planet's air.
All works are authenticated by REVCELL's patented and patent-pending provenance certification, ensuring the time and place of each capture can be verified.
Artist Message
The space where the artwork exists,
The space deep within the artwork.
The time flowing through the space of the artwork,
The time flowing deep within the artwork.
The emotion wrapped around the space of the artwork,
The emotion wrapped deep within the artwork.
Crystallizing color, form, and light, it stirs the subjective mind, moving continuously between the inner and outer skin of existence without ever achieving a static consensus.
The Artist's Masterwork: "The Tale of Genji" Series
Beyond the ChronAir™ collection, Kyoko Tamada is celebrated for her iconic The Tale of Genji series — a pure expression of her artistry rather than a carbon-sealed work, presented here to convey the philosophy behind ChronAir™. On the right is a masterpiece from this series. In this profound creation, the artist captures the multilayered beauty, flowing passage of time, and delicate emotional landscape of Japan's millennium-old literary epic inside the translucent glass. It stands as a pinnacle of her philosophy — "weaving time and dyeing space" — creating a seamless dialogue between historical cultural heritage and contemporary artistic expression.

Sghr (Sugahara Glass) × REVCELL
The Dawn of Carbon-Recycling Luxury
Discover our proud partnership with Sghr (Sugahara Glass), Japan's premier handmade glassware brand celebrated from Tokyo to Paris. Handcrafted by master artisans, these three exceptional pieces were prominently exhibited at the REVCELL booth during the Osaka-Kansai Expo 2025.
Every piece is a living testament to REVCELL's Origin Proof Technology. In traditional glassmaking, calcium carbonate is sourced from mined limestone, contributing to the depletion of Earth's resources. In a profound leap for materials science, we replaced natural stone with our provenance-certified carbon material, ReCaBO™, created directly from atmospheric CO₂.
During the high-temperature melting process, the CO₂ is released again — so the carbon is not stored in the glass. But this is not ordinary recycling: rather than digging new limestone from the Earth, we make luxury glassware from carbon captured from today's air, with its origin verified. It is resource circulation built on certified provenance — proving to global luxury brands that premium glass can be made without mining fresh fossil carbon from the ground.
"The Circular Polar Bear"
The polar bear is a global symbol of the climate crisis. This crystalline sculpture is crafted using ReCaBO™ as a raw material substitute — recreating an icon of endangered nature from carbon captured directly from today's air, with its origin verified, while blending seamlessly into luxury handmade craft.
"The Trio of Dialogue"
A set of three functional glasses featuring organic, fluid contours that only master artisans can shape. By replacing traditional mined limestone with ReCaBO™, these everyday luxury items demonstrate the commercial scalability of our approach — ready to redefine the future of sustainable tableware for global hotels and restaurants.
"The Vessel of the Atmosphere"
A sleek, shallow glass dish with a gentle contour designed to cradle light and shadow. Made with ReCaBO™ — provenance-certified material derived from atmospheric CO₂ instead of mined stone — this elegant piece is a physical canvas for REVCELL's Origin Proof Technology, showing how certified atmospheric carbon can be channeled into breathtaking, high-end lifestyle design.
Sghr (Sugahara Glass) × ChronAir™
We are pleased to announce a partnership with Sghr (Sugahara Glass) for the ChronAir™ series. For this collection, the bubbles in Sghr's bubble (Awa) glassware hold real atmospheric CO₂ captured from the air, with a verified record of when and where it was taken — so each bubble becomes a certified record of a single moment of our atmosphere.
This is the first special series in the Sghr × ChronAir™ collection, available to order with a minimum order quantity of 100 units.

The carbon dioxide absorbent RECOLIME® begins carbonation upon contact with air, starting to capture carbon dioxide. By incorporating it into REVCELL's compact DAC devices or utilizing existing airflow in air-conditioning ducts and appliances, it can capture carbon dioxide from familiar locations.
When RECOLIME® reacts with carbon dioxide, it becomes light calcium carbonate, ReCaBO™. REVCELL's provenance technology records the time and location where the carbon dioxide was captured. This can help in complying with stringent regulations such as EU-CBAM, Scope 3, and the Digital Product Passport (DPP).
The "CO₂RecoAir," a desk-sized compact DAC device, measures just 38 × 34 × 48 cm. A single unit captures approximately 50kg of CO₂ per year — about 80% of its theoretical maximum, a level we have consistently achieved in practice (results may vary by operating environment).
This may be a small step — but we believe that capturing carbon dioxide in familiar places, and recycling it into resources, will help change how people think about tackling global warming.
